WITH SARM COLLABORATORS
Astropoetic essay by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe, photos 1-3 by Catalin Beldea, photos 4-6 by Gabriel Corban and photos 7-9 by Attila Munzlinger
It a honor for me to invite to the cosmopoetry celebration
three old important collaborators of SARM,
international astrophotography laureates.
Thus, in 2020…
Engineer Catalin Beldea
(astronomy editor of the magazine ‘Science and Technique”
and organizer of the annual Bucharest Astrofest)
photographed in the Capital City of Romania
a penumbral lunar eclipse, a partial solar eclipse
and Comet NEOWISE,
his amazing pictures making me wonder
if we really live in the same town.
Mathematician Gabriel Corban (Bucharest,
holder of an impressive list
of international awards in solar photography)
made me wonder
if he knows a colder place in the Sun.
Doctor Attila Munzlinger (Lazarea, Harghita,
the last great national astrophotography laureate in Romania
and vice-president of the Magyar Astronomical Association of Transylvania)
made me bow again to the main saviors of the people
during the pandemic,
while his landscape astrophotography
made me write:
Doctor, doctor, could you
Find a solution
To protect our sky
From light pollution?
