GLOBAL ASTRONOMY MONTH – ASTRONOMERS IN MAKING REPORT

Global Astronomy Month (GAM), organized in April every year by Astronomers Without Borders, is the world's largest global celebration of astronomy. For this year, SPACE has suggested several GAM events for conduction by SPACE associated schools.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • SPACE Astronomy Club students share their experience with SPACE India.
  • Young astronomers share their experience through the journey of astronomy club with everyone.
  • This program motivated the participants to make use of this international opportunity provided by SPACE for exposing their passion towards astronomy and space science.

DESCRIPTION:

"Astronomers in Making" campaign where young Astronomers inspired others in Astronomy and Space Sciences by following points.

1. Introducing themselves with their school name 

2. Why they choose astronomy club? 

3. Why should people do astronomy and space sciences? 

4. What was their experience with SPACE Chennai? 

5. What are their future plans, if any, in Astronomy and Space Sciences? 

6. How they are celebrating GAM 2020, in this lockdown period? And Many more.
