It is a joy for me to invite to the cosmopoetry celebration
several members of SARM,
active in astrophotography in 2020.
Ciprian Grigorescu (Targoviste, “the subtle professional”) caught
Comet NEOWISE at the Princely Court.
George Tanase (Targoviste. “the poet of the image”) caught
the Moon rising from mountains.
Dan Mitrut (Bucharest, multiple national laureate
for astropoetry and astronomical arts) taught
his boy Mihai about planets.
Sorin Hotea (Sighetul Marmatiei,
coordinator of AstroInfo-Romania)
caught the Poetic Moon.
Cristian Danescu (Ploiesti, a professional astronomer
and vice-president of SARM) asked me to choose between
a spiral galaxy (Triangulum) and a reflection nebula (Iris).
Catalin Lita (Targioviste, the newcomer of the year
in Romanian astrophotography) asked me to choose between
an open star cluster (the Pleiades)
and two emission nebulae (Heart and Soul).
Finally, Cosmin Sorin Miclos (Miercurea Ciuc,
president of “Astronomer Disciple”) said:
“What do you prefer?
The International Space Station in the Little Chariot,
Comet NEOWISE and an astronomer disciple,
or an astral rocking with Jupiter and Saturn?”
