On April 16, MECATX presented a astronomy booth and presentation at the Copperas Cove, Texas library for a library Rally during National library month. They also performed a program of German folk music for one half hour, as they usually do a bluegrass/oldtime jam session prior to a star gazing party while camping. The group is the Tri-City Remote Video Astronomy group. We are interested in partnering with other groups by using the internet, specifially Ustream and Skype. For this we prefer groups in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and or Panama, as we have members from these countries that speak Spanish, and we in compatible time zones. Others are welcome also.

We may be doing programs on April 23, and 30, weather premitting. Join us!
