Become a Member. Join Astronomers Without Borders worldwide astronomy community. Get the latest news and program updates, and take part! There are observing programs, online programs, and more to join in with your fellow astronomy enthusiasts around the world. We all share the same sky, and in Astronomers Without Borders we also share our activities with each other. Anyone can become a member, whether you belong to another organization or not.
Become an Affiliate Member. Affiliates are groups of any kind associated with astronomy: clubs, planetariums and science centers, manufacturers, astronomy travel, and more. You'll be asked to specify the names and email addresses for the organizations contacts.
Make a Donation. Astronomers Without Borders is a grassroots organization that creates programs based on the AWB Global Community. That community is our greatest resource, and everyone contributes by taking part. Participation is free so that no one is excluded, but more is needed. Your donation helps to make AWB’s programs possible for yourself and others worldwide. Take the next step and support AWB and the programs it produces for everyone.
Become a Sponsor. Astronomers Without Borders reaches astronomy enthusiasts of all types worldwide. Our programs are unique, attracting participants from core amateur astronomers to the general public. Based on sharing the same sky, the AWB Global Community is the broadest there is. And with so many program types, there’s sure to be one or more focused on your target audience. Sponsorship of specific programs – or new ones that you’d like to see – are always an option.
Get Involved In a Campaign. AWB’s Resource Sharing programs allow community members to share with others in need. A telescope set aside in one country might be an unreachable dream for an astronomy enthusiast in another country. Regular science education programs found in some countries are nonexistent in others. Our passion for astronomy brings us together. The insights we gain from interacting inspire us to help each other. Where the need is greatest, so is the opportunity to make a difference. Providing resources, building communities, creating opportunities, and changing lives – the sky is not the limit.
