Astropoetry and
Cosmopoetry again.
I like to hear that,
It’s just my favorite refrain.

In 1996 the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy (SARM) began a long series of international astropoetry / cosmopoetry projects, initially as printed anthologies (supplements of the magazine “Noi si Cerul / Us and the Sky) and then online projects.

The 2009 project (Astropoetry to the International Year of Astronomy) was nominated for the Prize of Excellence of IYA, the 2010-2012 projects (Astropoetry to the Global Astronomy Month, Expedition to El Gran Telescopio Canarias and International Olympicosmopoetriada) were connected to Global Astronomy Month and the 2013 project (International Cosmopoetry Challenge) was made by SARM in partnership with Astronomers Without Borders.

Since 2014 the projects are named Cosmopoetry Internationals (plus the year of existence of the astropoetry / cosmopoetry movement).

The 2018 edition was dedicated to Targoviste International AstroFest, also a co-operation between SARM and AWB.

And now the team of coordinators (Valentin Grigore, Florin Alexandru Stancu, Arlene C. Brill and me) invite you to enjoy the 2019 edition:
