My friends, for Global Astronomy Month,
Even during a world tragedy,
I respect the social distancing,
But I keep close to astropoetry.

A few days before the official restrictions of circulation in Romania due to the world pandemic, I took some pictures close to my block of flats (when nobody else was around me), trying to connect through blossoms the beauty of the world and the fascination of the sky.
The result: four astro-haiga.

24 March. The national authorities announced official restrictions of circulation in Romania starting from 25 March.

Since my apartment is orientated to south, in the last years I took many pictures on my balcony or through my window, in spite of light pollution.

This time I thought that the balcony astrophotography genre could be a good crisis variant for the sky lovers who live in similar conditions, so I went to my balcony and I made my first astro-haiga (with the Sun defeating hard clouds) after the official announcement.

25 March. I selected a few important pieces from my personal astronomical collection (“Merveilles Celestes” by Cammile Flmmarion, “Star Names” by Richard Hinckley Allen, an edition of “Astronomical Calendar” by Guy Ottewell, “Leonid Storm Research” by Peter Jenniskens and a NASA team, “More Things in Heaven and Earth” by David H. Levy, personal awards, nametags, badges and pens from national and international events organized by SARM, International Meteor Organization, International Astronomical Union and NASA) and I photographed them as a form of home astronomy in which anybody could make order in personal memories and plans.

The result: another astro-haiga.

Finally all I can say is:

RESPECT THE OFFICIAL CRISIS RULES.
DO NOT ABANDON ASTRONOMY.
BE ASTRO-CREATIVE.
