Global Astronomy month in Melat Park, Rasht, Iran

Many amateur astronomers, all over the world get to gather to share the joy and beauty of watching the night sky with people. Thaqib Astronomical Association held Astronomy Festival 29^th and 30^th of April 2015. Many organizations such as ; Rasht Islamic City Council, Rasht Municipality, Rasht Athletic Culture Organization, Astronomers Without Borders, UNAWE and also a large number of amateur astronomers activity participated in that Festival.

Some of programs of that festival were: Observing Sun spots and night sky, Astronomical exhibition, Water rocket contest, Space hangout, Workshop and etc.

It is worth nothing that this Festival hosted over 1200 visitors. Watching all programs of the Astronomy Festival was available to general public.
