On 9th May 2016 we organized an event in the beautiful Schlosspark Laxenburg near Vienna. All visitors from the Schlosspark were invited to join and take a closer look through our telescopes and observe this rare event.

A lot of interested people took the chance and informed themselves and observed the Mercury transit with us. We also had a lot of info material and posters we could use to explain the Mercury transit. Fortunately we had a really beautiful weather and a clear sky. Even a local TV reporter team joined us for a report and an interview.
