Members of the Roanoke Valley Astronomical Society will man an outreach booth at the Salem Red Sox baseball game. The booth will have information about the close approach to Mars and members will provide NASA mission updates to visitors. In addition, members will make available the club's Coronado solar scope for viewing the sun and a library telescope to view the night sky and to promote the LiTel program.
