Astronomy in a Drive-In

The Louis Cruls Astronomy Club organized here in our city, Campos dos Goytacazes, here in Brazil on September 25th, Friday, and September 26th,Saturday, an Astronomy Drive-in event. People participated from their cars. We had the support of the biggest Shopping Center of our city. We used the parking of the Shopping Center and project videos and images in a big screen. Transit of Mercury observed in Campos dos Goytacazes- Brazil The team of the Louis Cruls Astronomy Club observed the Transit of Mercury on November 11, 2019, in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes located in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. It was possible to observe the transit until 16:30h UT. In the last 1 hour and thirty minutes of the Transit we had many clouds in the sky. 200 people obsverved the transit with us. Read More...
