| About the Sidewalk Astronomers The Sidewalk Astronomers is a non-profit corporation with members throughout the world. In urban areas, we set up our telescopes in places where people are likely to be passing by - busy street corners, shopping malls, movie theaters, fairs, etc. Outside of the cities, we hold star parties at state, county, and national parks. All of these are free, public service events. We urge all amateurs to join us in sharing the night sky by taking telescope to the public. |
