Prospery C. Simpember is a founding member of Space Science Zambia Chapter, an organisation spearheading educational campaigns on space-related activies in Zambia. He is also the Student Cordinator for Space Science at the University of Zambia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in physics and is now in the Master of Science (MSc) degree programme in Physics of the Environment and Renewable Energy. Until recently he was a metrologist for the Zambia Bureau of Standards in Lusaka, Zambia.

Prospery's interest in space science dates back from his junior school years. His goal is to see everyone benefiting from technology that comes from the space sciences. Prospery believes, "The sky is not the limit."
