A glance at the Heavens

The Much awaited time of the Year is here!

The Milky Way Galactic Season is here and we have decided to host a field trip supporting the cause of International Year of Light 2016 & International Dark Sky Week 2016 (April 4-10) by International Dark Sky Association and Global Astronomy Month(GAM-2016) by Astronomers without Borders both of which we are affiliated with. We are also having a Photo Contest for which you can enrol free of cost and win exciting prizes.This Field Trip marks the beginning of the Photo contest.

ITINERARY:
Event Date: 9th April 2016 Saturday
Meet Point : Green Bawarchi towards signal Beside Suchitra X roads signal
Meet Time : 22:30 Hrs and complete all formalities and start off in Half hour.

Distance: Single Side: 115Kms. The Event Location is one of the Darkest places close to Us and Best in Terms of Night Sky Visibility.

Transport: Self/ Car Pool (Subject to availability)

Session Info:
Reach Destination and Set Up Camp and Start off with the specially designed Interactive Astronomy Session along with Astrophotography of the Milky Way and Post process Tutorials as well.

Astrophotography, Astronomy Session, Star Lore and Advanced Discussion.
Milky Way Photography Session and Post process Tutorials.

Required Equipment:
Binoculars/Telescopes(Astronomical Observations), Dslr and Tripod (Astrophotgraphy), Lenses, Intervalometer or Remote.

Water and Warm Clothes.
Shoes and Jeans Recommended.
