Explore the treasures of the famous Messier Catalogue from home! The well-known Messier Catalogue has most of the sky's best objects (and a few real challenges), and each year when conditions are best amateur astronomers test themselves to see how many of these objects they can find in a single night. During GAM2010 you can enjoy a Messier Marathon online, in real time! See the most famous ojbects the heavens have to offer along with friends from every part of the globe.

The Online Messier Marathon supports the goals of GAM and AWB by demonstrating how technology can be used by anyone to discover the beauty and wonders of the Universe. You are invited to meet at a remote telescope, crossing borders and sharing the excitement of the live event from your own home. It's a chance to feel like a scientist while having fun with new friends from around the world.
