'Cosmos' on the Big Screen

This may be the closest you’ll ever get to being on the Planet Mars. See “Blues for a Red Planet”, an episode of the wildly-popular 1980 TV science series ‘Cosmos’ hosted by Carl Sagan and presented by JPL Mars Rover Team Lead, Scott Maxwell. Scott will follow the epic episode with some slides and clips of Mars as seen from the Rovers that he commands here on earth. On stage will be the Mars Exploration Rover which will maneuver over and around volunteers from the audience. The kids are going to love it. The Rover will interact with the audience at Scott’s direction. Come to the Regency San Juan Capistrano Theater on Wednesday, October 12th, for an evening you and the family will not forget. Come early and grab a bite at Rick’s Cafe on the upper level. The episode starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
