A Power Point Presentation on "Our Star - The Sun" was prepared and presented by myself (Mr. D. Aravindaraja).
Our next activity was "Observing Spectra with a Compact Disk (CD) ".
Finally, I conducted the activity "Observing the Sun using a Pinhole Camera" and felt Sun's Effects on us i.e the heat.
I made the students stand in the shade for a while, and then asked them to stand straight under the Sun, to make them feel the effect of the Sun. Nearly 100 students from my school took part in this event.

Hi I am D.Aravindaraja working as a Teacher in a Government school located at mudaliarpet, puducherry state, India and i am the Secretary of Phoenix Science Club. My aim is to create awareness on science and to create interests among students and public regarding Astronomy.
