Members of Southern Maine Astronomers had a solar party for the public at LL Bean in Freeport, Maine. Many members brought telescopes, so we had many types for the people to look at the sun through and also a small radio telescope to hear the radio waves from the sun and satellites. I brought NASA Night Sky materials for people who were waiting to look through telescopes to make solar and lunar eclipses. We had many visitors and they all loved looking at our own star, the sun.
