The evening started with observing the Orion Nebula (M42) and the Pleiades Cluster (M45). Later the participants were given a short introduction to the night sky including how to find direction using the polar constellations Big Dipper and Cassiopeia and the bright constellations of Orion, Gemini and Leo were identified using a green laser pointer.
