Global Star Party Steps 2019 - Spirit of Apollo it was a success

On April 13th , CCBEU - Goiania in partnership with Astronomers Without Borders and GunStar Astronomy Observation Team, hosted The Global Star Party Steps, 8th edition. An event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission, which provided unforgettable experiences to the participants, as well as illuminating lectures on the Apollo 11 Mission and The Astronomy in Planet Krypton, by professors Sandro Lib and Daniel Vinhal, graduates in Physics from UFG Universidade Federal de Goiás, enriching our event with their vast knowledge on the subject. Children and adults participated actively in the Astronomers Without Borders ASTROART painting contest,, as well as the writing contest "Message for You," writing a letter to an alien friend talking about our planet expressing their ideas and artistic abilities! Everyone learned a lot at the Nebules workshop and each one produced its own "nebule" to take home. The most curious ones interested in the influence of the stars in our lives, had their Astrological Chart done by Ms. Larissa Siqueira, an analytical psychologist from the University of Barcelona. The night ended with the telescopic observations and the concert of Jair O Próprio and BOOGIE NIGHT bands! A busy Saturday full of incredible experiences about the universe that surrounds us! It’s CCBEU Goiânia in partnership with GUNSTAR Astronomy Observation ahead of the projects in the "21st Century Skills” in he state of Goiás , Brazil.
