GLOBAL ASTRONOMY MONTH – CLOSING OF GAM 2020 REPORT

Global Astronomy Month (GAM), organized in April every year by Astronomers Without Borders, is the world's largest global celebration of astronomy. For this year, SPACE has suggested several GAM events for conduction by SPACE associated schools.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Closing of Global Astronomy Month GAM April 2020 celebration.
• Total number of events conducted 20.
• Compilation of celebration through various events like online interactions, discussions, sessions, contests and many more.
• This program motivated the participants to make use of this international opportunity provided by SPACE for experiencing celestial journey of astronomy and space science.

DESCRIPTION:

During this month-long celebration of Astronomy, being a part of many amazing events like Space Quotes, AstroArt, AstroPoetry, Lunar Photography and Observations, Rover from trash contest, Light pollution awareness and many more events were amusing for our eyes and curious soul. Participants and Public were overwhelmed with astonishing excitements by the conducted events and there would be much more events included for the upcoming years too.

CONCLUSION:
