Mercury Transit from Pensacola

Time: 6:30 AM until noon

Both solar and hydrogen alpha telescopes will allow smartphone users to image the transit.  Current star charts, free photos of the last Mercury transit, and Baader solar filters for safe solar observing of this transit, sunspots, and the 2023 and 2024 solar eclipses will be available.  EAAA members will be set up on both sides of the Pensacola State College Planetarium.
