Tic-tac, tic-tac...
our clock was ticking,
cause pretty there, in that evening,
my Wife Sonia and I
were moving to a meeting.
Our car rushed fastly,
toward darkened streets and roads,
thick black clouds hovering above us,
trapping the vanishing light of our Sun.
Taking one curve here,
and then another there,
I heard my Wife saying:
"Wow! Look at that over there!"
I turned my gaze toward the marvelous sighting:
a Thin Crescent Moon and Venus,
showing their faces beneath the thick clouds,
both beautiful, both shining, both dazzling!
I halted the march of the car,
and parked on the side of the road,
readied my faithful camera toward the pair,
held my breathing, pressed the button...
... and smiled at them.
Moments later the clouds came in,
the whole sky darkened,
and the Moon and Venus were gone
behind the rain that started falling.
You never know when Nature will decide it,
will decide to surprise you...
... You must be READY for it!
And rejoice, and share...
what chance and opportunity choose to delight you.
