Someone said duck, it's coming in.
The earth has been hit yet again.
It was July 24, this year my friend,
when the earth got hit yet again.
Over Canada, it came in fast.
Without warning there was a blast.
A small asteroid it must have been.
Had it been a big one it would have
done us in!
It exploded as it neared the surface
of the earth.
To some meteorites it has given birth.
We have been a target many times before.
If a big one hits it will really score.
People will be running, but there is nowhere
to go.
Next time life could disappear, man would
be no more.
So live every day like it might be your last.
Because we never know when from heaven
the sky will fall and there will be a great blast!
