The night of the strange beings

The night was clear and cool.
It was filled with monsters and ghouls.
I guided them to my scope.
And showed them Saturn, no joke.
While I was out in the street,
my wife dispensed the treats.
She met them at the door,
they howled and scream for more
She filled their bags up high.
With candy, toys and stones from the sky.
It was such a glorious night,
filled with fun and fright.
