The closest planet to the Sun,
Mercury is the one.
Passing between us and our star
it is relatively close to where we are.
Usually hard to see, this November
it will be seen easily. About 13 time
a century I see it as it transits in front
of me! A transit of the Sun, filtered
telescopes are needed to see this one.
November 11, is the date, it will be
seen all across the United States.
Part or all can be seen, it is an astronomers
dream. Don't be late, across the Americas
we have a date!
