The sky is the first magic word
In astronomy
And the second one is
Observatory.

It is obvious that an elite aspect of a big town consists of the number of its astronomical observatories and their quality.

With all my respect for those jewels of human mind which bring the sky closer, I made a series dedicated to the Bucharestian observatories in 2019 (with the excellent support of web master and designer Florin Alexandru Stancu and astrophotographer Valentin Grigore).

In fact, it is an incursion (with astropoetry elements) into three epochs: Royal Romania, communist Romania and post-communist Romania, which we invite you to discover before the start of Global Astronomy Month 2020:
