By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (text) and Valentin Grigore

I never imagined that I could celebrate 60 years of life alone, during the last day of a 50-day individual “isolation” imposed by a world pandemic.

So because I can’t share with anyone a bottle of champagne, I prefer to share with you a few recent beauties captured from the sky in Romania.

For this I invited the president of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy (SARM) Valentin Grigore (also a co-author of this project) to a three-episode gala tournament of recent lunar photography, each episode including four pictures (1 and 4 by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe in Bucharest, 2 and 3 by Valentin Grigore in Targoviste).

Then I wrote two lines for every picture and Valentin made the design.

Thus, you can understand our tournament as:

  • 12 independent short-short astro-photo-poems (cosmopoems) in 12 images;
  • 3 independent short astro-photo-poems (cosmopoems) - each one in 4 images;
  • 1 long astro-photo-poem (cosmopoem) in 12 images - in 3 parts.

As you wish!

(Too many explanations, isn’t it?)
