Mercury preparing its greatest evening elongation,
The Evening Star preparing to become the Morning Star,
A sublime conjunction placed between
Us and the Sun, so not very far.
Today, still Hesperus,
Tomorrow, just Phosphorus,
But Venus is the same,
Attracting so much fame!
