PENUMBRAL FANTASY
Astro-photo-poem (cosmopoem) by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
Bucharest, June 5, 2020,
under a penumbral lunar eclipse.
I flew to the Moon
in a super-plane.
I made a small house there
and planted some red roses
in my secret territory
(which imitates earthly life
under a transparent capsule),
then I returned to my planet
with a space locomotive.
I pitied the Moon here
for such a modest penumbra
and I thanked Mother Earth
because she gave me a full shadow.
But finally
the naughty Moon put a crown
around her
and knocked me down.
