IMAGINARY ASTRO-PARK
(June 17-18, 2020, Children’s World - Youth Park, Bucharest)
Astro-photo-poetry (cosmopoetry) mini-drama by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
Visitor:
An orbit of flowers…
Manager:
…Where everybody could be a planet
Reciting a haiku or a sonnet.
Visitor:
Young girls passing by Jupiter…
Manager:
… A refreshing vision when it’s hot,
Even without the Great Red Spot.
Visitor:
A flower-galaxy…
Manager:
…Not really Andromeda, Whirlpool or Sunflower,
But something with certain stellar power.
Visitor:
Children admiring a belt of asteroids…
Manager:
…Neither Ceres nor Astraea or Pallas,
Maybe just Hygiea over the grass.
A few clusters of flowers…
Manager:
… Rivaling the Pleiades and the Butterfly,
Or just substitutes for those in the sky.
Visitor:
…And the real manager
Of the imaginary astro-park…
Manager:
…I always prefer the light,
Not the dark.
