ASTRONOMICAL DISCOVERIES
(Bucharest, June 28-30, 2020)
Astro-photo-poem (cosmopoem) by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
In 2020
admirable researchers in astronomy
continued to make excellent discoveries:
“the first Earth-sized exoplanet in the habitable zone”
in Dorado
(maybe I’ll find a better world there,
without pandemics),
“the mass and spin of a supermassive black hole”
in Centaurus
(good to know,
I’ll avoid that dangerous place),
“a large cavity”
in the Ophiuchus Supercluster
(I hope it will preferentially absorb
the harmful viruses) etc.
But they have not yet discovered
a suspect movement
in the Orion Arm:
it’s just me,
walking strangely around the Sun.
