A FINE MEMORY
Astro-photo-poem (cosmopoem) by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
On August 7, 2020,
I walked around the Culture House of Sector 5
in Bucharest
(a building in the Neo-Romanian style,
adorned today by the stars of the European Union),
where I made my public debut
with a few poems about the Cosmos
in May 1984,
during a session of the literary circle
of the Romanian Academy.
The reaction of the audience
was a reason of joy for me,
but a gentleman warned me:
“Unfortunately, the literary critics
should learn some astronomy
to comment on a poet like you.”
