“From abysses, from other worlds,
The jump is easy without wings,
Meteor, destiny of flight.”
-Dan Mitrut (lyrics from a song launched in 1998 at SARM’s Perseid event)-
SARM’S PERSEID EVENT 2020 - A SHORT RETROSPECTIVE
Astro-photo-poem (cosmopoem) by Valentin Grigore
At SARM’s Perseid Event 2020,
under windows and overflows of light,
we talked about meteors, stars, ecosystems
and, under Saturn and Jupiter,
we had a concert of astro-folk music,
“Meteor, Destiny of Flight’ by Dan Mitrut.
In those mornings, we saw
the stars dripping dew from the sky
to rekindle in the grass
from the light of the sunrise.
