Nicole Voltan is an artist with a scientific attitude: she observes, analyzes, creates art from nature with nature herself, whether terrestrial or celestial. [...]
Voltan returns to a primordial experience in looking at the Earth and the organic or inorganic life, whose processes are experimented by the artist herself, for making us participants and for reminding us to stay part of them.
In her vision, almost cosmological, she takes a detail of the "whole", amplifying it, making it macroscopic, analyzing it, emphasizing its evolution and giving it a formal and conceptual coherence. At the opposite, she works with the macroscopic elements, as if they were plastic materials, reducing their size, translating their meaning into images and disseminating their value to the public. The infinitesimally small and the infinitesimally huge are transformed into the human scale, to become reachable for her eye, her reason and her emotions.

According to the Quantum theory, two objects, even if very distant from each other, are dependent and joined together by a strong relation, in a sort of microscopic universal interconnection, known as entanglement, in which the space in between various particles cannot erase their continuous communication: also a huge amount of space does not reduce the quantum interdependence.

According to this theory, "every thing is related to anything".

We are all connected by an invisible, ethereal and eternal string, through which we can feel essentially related to each other and even also to a such immense system that our mind is unable to rationally understand.
