True Mystery, 100x70cm, acrylic on canvas 2015
I believe that with knowledge of the past, comes understanding of the present. Therefore in order to discover the essence of creation and the primal role of an artist I found it necessary to go back to its roots.

After deep research I discovered that in the deepest dimension Art comes from transcendental experiences and magic. There were times when human life was connected to the natural environment and when the Arts were considered spiritual, magical, a secret language used in many rituals and rites. It has been associated with the exploration of the soul and the secrets of Nature, the beginning of taming the world, and to personalize and spiritualize the human as an individual. It originates from a deep need of trying to understand the world and define oneself in it.

After these discoveries I directed my research towards the shamanistic cultures, in the same time I started to explore the subject leading to my spiritual development through art, not only by creating it, but becoming art itself in performances which took the form of rituals and symbolic actions. In media like: painting and video I often used a universal language which I found in patterns, symbols and archetypes as well as mythology and legends.

Recently I started to paint landscapes, because I understood that not only through ritualistic performances, extreme actions or use of special symbols & archetypes I can show spirituality and have transcendental experiences leading to deepen my bond with the Universe. The subject of presented works is the Night Sky. Since the dawn of time people were looking into the sky- the Universe, observing the stars and planets, setting them into constellations, trace the directions and giving them a divine meaning. But even after human’s exploration the Cosmos still contains the Mystery.
