Observe in both hemispheres during AWB's Big Dipper to Southern Cross Online Observing events. Questions and comments are welcome. These events are appropriate for all ages, but if you have young children, it's more fun for the kids if there is adult guidance.Telescopes are provided by AWB's partners, the Virtual Telescope and the Las Cumbres Observatory.
Each observing session will be two hours. These are online observing sessions, so click the location link below at the designated date and time. Don't forget to translate your time.

We won't reveal all the observing targets, because we want to increase your suspense! For sure, we'll visit the great Globular cluster of Hercules, the amazing Ring Nebula (M57), the splendid galaxy NGC 6946, and other northern gems.

Southern Hemisphere Online Observing

Sutherland Observatory, located in South Africa via the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network (LCOGT)
It's the perfect time to observe from Sutherland because the Milky Way will be overhead during the online observing. A portion of globular cluster 47 Tucanae and other exciting targets will be observed!
