Sabah Stargazers celebrates The Global Astronomy Month 2018 in various place across Sabah, Northern Borneo of Malaysia. Our team organize and conduct astronomy activities to spread awareness on astronomy education. Beside that, promoting the GAM to the public.

For the 1st week of April on 6th-8th, our team conduct astrophotography workshop for the government staff working in related Islam-astronomy field. The workshop were held in Pusat Latihan Islam, Kundasang, Sabah. A place with low light pollution and great for landscape scenery with Mount Kinabalu. The workshop were covering the basic astrophotography such as theory and practical. On the 1st day, the class were cover more in imaging wide-field astrophoto such as milkyway.

On the 2nd day night, instructor from Sabah Stargazers with the participants held a stargazing session in nearby village. It is one of the activity that cover star chart learning, tour of the night sky using telescope and some briefing session on the object were point out.

The 3rd day as the final day, the participants were in editing session. Various technique and software being introduce to do the right step of editing of astrophotgaphy datas and images.
