SPECIAL FAMILY ASTRONOMY EVENT SATURDAY 14TH APRIL

Explore the Universe – Moon Craters, Exploding Stars and Colliding Galaxies!

Join us this Saturday for a very special event as we explore our amazing universe through a series of fun hands-on activities, plus fascinating short talks. The activities will be led by 4 astronomers from ESO (European Southern Observatory) who have teamed up with the Planetarium to bring the universe down to Earth to help us celebrate Global Astronomy Month!

Date: SATURDAY 14TH APRIL 2018

Place: PLANETARIUM SCIENCE CENTRE (directions below)

Time:

2:00 - 3:30pm Hands-on activities

3:30 – 4:00pm Short talks on the Solar System and Exploding Stars

Tickets: Adults – Ghc 20, Students/Children - Ghc 10

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is a family event so all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • Recommended minimum age for this event is 7 years
  • NUMBERS WILL BE LIMITED TO 40 CHILDREN so come early or buy tickets in advance
