BYO Telescope Class

Learn how to use your own telescope and you’ll be finding the stars and planets in no time! Those without telescopes are welcome too.

If you have a telescope and are having difficulty working out how to use it, this single evening class will help you on your way. With amateur astronomers on hand, you will learn how to set up and use your telescope.

In the first part of the evening Mark Davies from Earthside Astronomy will help us discover the different types of telescopes there are and give us expert tips for using telescopes. This will be followed by a hands-on, practical session where you’ll receive help using your own telescope.

Those without telescopes are also welcome to join the class. It’s a great way to learn more about telescopes if you’re thinking of buying one.
