On April 19, the symposium ORADEAstronomy began with the opening of the painting exhibition: planets, stars, the Milky Way Galaxy, a space shuttle in the Earth's orbit. This activity was organized in the Children's Educational Center in Oradea, Romania. The children presented materials about the Solar System, Stars, Galaxies, Messier objects, information about astronomers and astrophysicists (Galileo Galilei, Stephen Hawking).
On April 26, the Astronomy and Space Science Club memmbers organized two educational activities at the Cheresig and Tarian Secondary Schools. We presented maps of the sky, interesting facts about the Hubble Space Telescope and about Mars. Finally, the students looked at the Moon through a telescope.
