Astronomy Q & A: For the curious-minded star gazer
Toner StevensonAstronomy Q&A: for the curious-minded star gazer
Would you go on a trip to Mars and what are the consequences? What is an Aurora and why are they usually green? If our Universe is expanding - will we one day not see stars from Earth?
Mathematician and curious minded astronomy enthusiast, Dr Ben Livson, will mediate this session where we ask and try to answer questions about astronomy. With astronomer Dr Andrew Jacob on the brains trust and a participating audience, we will have some success at exploring what is known in a field where there are regularly new discoveries and revelations that change previously accepted knowledge.
If you find a trip to Mars or establishing whether other life exists in our Universe fascinating topics then this is an opportunity to satisfy your curiousity, or at least explore the big questions scientists are trying to answer.
