ART MEETS SCIENCE: IMPACT OF CHESLEY BONESTELL ON APRIL 7
Chesley Bonestell is known as the grandmaster of space art, being one of the first artists who brought to life the destinations in the Universe through scientifically accurate paintings. His work would inspire an entire generation of scientists, writers, and visionaries. Many argue that his art helped increase the momentum for America's exploration of the solar system.
AWB's Mike Simmons and Andrew Fazekas will moderate a cast of all-star guests including producer, director Doug Stewart of the new documentary film “Chesley Bonestell: a Brush with the Future”. Also joining us will be renowned space artist and authority on Bonestell’s art, Ron Miller, AstroArtist and former NASA astronaut, Nicole Stott, and actor and avid amateur astronomer Tim Russ, who played Vulcan character Tuvok on hit TV series Star Trek: Voyager.
