Chesley Bonestell is known as the grandmaster of space art, being one of the first artists who brought to life the destinations in the Universe through scientifically accurate paintings. His work would inspire an entire generation of scientists, writers, and visionaries and many argue that it actually provided the momentum for America's exploration of the solar system.

Join us for a lively Facebook Live discussion on April 7 highlighting Bonestell's ground breaking, realistic space illustrations, and the continuing deep connection between various art forms and space science and exploration. AWB's Mike Simmons and Andrew Fazekas, will be moderating a full cast of all star guests including producer, director Doug Stewart of the new documentary film “Chesley Bonestell: A Brush with the Future”. Also joining us will be renowned space artist and authority on Bonestell’s art, Ron Miller, and actor and avid amateur astronomer Tim Russ, who played Vulcan character Tuvok on hit TV series Star Trek: Voyager.
