On Saturday October 29, 2011 we celebrate reverting to Winter Time by organising the "Nacht van de Nacht."

In Arnhem we join forces with local environmental groups and organise a big event in Sonsbeek Park, close to the central train station. There will be all kinds of night related activities, among them a bunch of telescopes from the volunteers of Sterrenwacht Presikheaven. Do not let clouds deter you: there are various interesting presentations in the Sonsbeek Park Visitors Centre.

The event lasts from 7 pm till 11 pm (19.00 - 23.00 hr), though if the skies are clear we may extend our stay, giving the audience the opportunity to see the transit of Io's shadow over Jupiter.

There is no admission fee - everyone is welcome. And don't forget: this night is one hour longer than all the others!
