Both the astronomy clubs that I belong to didn't organize a star party for the same evening as the Global Star Party, so I did a neighboorhood star party in front of my house. There were only 3 people who came to look through the telescope, but all three of them were thrilled to see Jupiter with its bands and moons and the craters and mountains on the moon. Also, one of them and I took pictures through my telescope for the first time. We took a picture of Jupiter and the moon.
