Hi All, Wondering if anyone else saw a bright star-like light coming from very close to or from the Lagoon Nebula. I observed this light at about 9:50pm CDT. Once I saw it it stayed bright about 1 minute and then dimmed over a period of about 20 seconds. The light was not moving relative to Saturn which is just north of Sagittarius so I am quite sure it was not a satillite. It was about as bright as Saturn and was redish, similar to Scorpius a* Antares. Very interesting, hope someone else saw it and can confirm my observation.... Read More...
