On The Moon Again ''Oscar Niemeyer of the Dreamers'' (dos sonhadores)
We thank the Secretary of Culture of the State of Goias and the superintendence of the Centro Cultural Oscar Niemayer for hosting and for helping us promote Cultural Astronomy in the State of Goiás. This Report is for the world to know about the actions made in Goiás by the IGTAC Institute Gunstar Team of Cultural Astronomy during the Astronomy Festival of the State of Goias the Glitter 2019, a world of Adventures. Sun and Moon long kiss eclipse.
In Goiania the solar eclipse reaches 31% at sunset in its maximum length. In an afternoon of Astronomy and Friendship celebrating the opening of the Astronomy Festival of the State of Goias the Festival of Shine our organization took adapted binoculars with Astronomical sunscreen, telescopes and sunglasses. The adapted binoculars favored the observation of the Eclipse in a pleasant and comfortable way besides the magnification of the sun in 20x50. About 50 people observed with us during the partial eclipse of the Sun, highlighting a large number of children who simply were stuck with the phenomenon. Links of records :... Read More...

Gunstar team of Senador Canedo, Sede, and old Goias together for several points of the beautiful Goias Velho, registering the sky and its points of Low light pollution . Colegio Razão in the figure of professor Daniel Vinhal together with the largest and most traditional Astronomical Organization of the State of Goias, the Gunstar Team institute stayed for a week waiting for the weather to allow us a daytime observation. The largest and most traditional club in the state of Goias and one of the most vibrant and dynamic institutions of Latin America, the Gunstar Team Institute with its Partner Sesc Social Service of Commerce launched the 2019 edition of Sunday in Goias. Telescopio Itinerante do Fogaréu it was a success
a memorable night of Astronomy culture and faith marked the Wednesday night in the good village (old goias). Thousands of tourists and natives have gathered in the square of the bandstand for the great festival that stages the last parts of the history of Jesus his persecution and death. Global Star Party Steps 2019 - Spirit of Apollo it was a success
On April 13th , CCBEU - Goiania in partnership with Astronomers Without Borders and GunStar Astronomy Observation Team, hosted The Global Star Party Steps, 8th edition. An event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission, which provided unforgettable experiences to the participants, as well as illuminating lectures on the Apollo 11 Mission and The Astronomy in Planet Krypton, by professors Sandro Lib and Daniel Vinhal, graduates in Physics from UFG Universidade Federal de Goiás, enriching our event with their vast knowledge on the subject. Gunstar Team together with CCBEU one of the most traditional teaching institutions of English language in Goias recognized by the American Embassy together for cultural astronomy. Our partnership began in 2018 with the promotion of Asteroid Day Goias a valuable action that was attended by the Planetarium of the Federal University of Goias Juan Bernandino. Super Eclipse da Lua no Perigeu
Gunstar team opens the door of its headquarters in Goiania for an evening of astronomy and friendship with more than 7 telescopes for the great public to observe the Eclipse of the Moon.
