When we were kids and first heard of the word ‘star’ gently mentioned in a ‘song that literally everyone knows the lyrics; ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, actually we have had a ‘beautiful thing’ in our tiny imagination- a star. When we were five, we learnt to draw our very first five-pointed star without picking up the pencil and we began to draw a smiley yellow sun. We grew up hearing “The Sun is a star”, it was only a small surprise before we knew stargazing is (almost) like looking into the past, does the truth hurt too much? We had our first date under a shower of stars, and realised that they may have died. We became a devotee of the night sky, that offers an ever-changing display of fascinating celestial objects to see — stars and constellations. As we grow older and wiser, we begin to realise that stars taught us how to live a life we want; we weren’t born with popularity, but we want to be loved and missed when we die.
