At the time of dusk
When night slowly spreads,
On the path of stars,
The moon lightly treads.
Its spellbinding dance,
Its silver attire
Make us all subjects
Of its dark empire.

Author’s Note – When I look up at the moon, I sometimes feel like it is watching over us, like a second guardian after the sun. It's like we're all subjects of its vast empire. I can only be in awe of its importance and beauty. And that feeling led me to write this poem.
